Indian B Schools mainly cater to local students who will predominantly find employment in local Indian business houses; why are these schools than expected to traverse the contentious issue of adopting standards prescribed by International accreditation agencies? Standards more relevant to institutions functioning abroad in different business environments? Are the AICTE or NAAC or NAB standards found inferior or wanting?

Managing is the process of getting things done to achieve the target to help in the achievement of the common objective of the people and the organization. Management existed even during the ancient civilization. Collecting of food, hunting, etc was part of management. Where there are existences there is management even if you see animals, birds all are doing management in their day to day lives. Our Mahabharat, Ramayana, Quran, Bible is full of management.

Kids start learning management at their early upbringing stage. India is the multicultural, multilingual place with various management styles, so our children are best in all kind of management than others. Management is in everyone’s life whether it is from pandits to kings, beggar to billionaires and child to adult irrespective of caste, creed, sex, age everyone uses the management. Chanakya is one of the best examples, Indian mothers are another good example of great management where earlier the work between men and women were distributed men were accountable for earnings and women were responsible for household work, taking care of children and elder, now since women started working their workload distribution is same men takes care of earnings only, while women have added additional burden of earnings still they manages efficiently.

AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) is an approval body, NAAC is an accreditation body and NBA (National Board of Accreditation) accredits AICTE programs. The accreditation by the NBA is to promote and recognize excellence in technical education—at both UG and PG levels. Institutions, students, employers, and the public, all benefit from the NBA accreditation process.

Education has changed dramatically due to technological improvement, job demands, students want to move out of countries. Gone are the days of professor lecturing to a classroom full of students and writing notes on the blackboard. Now a few courses are taught completely online. Others consist of online lectures with team-based projects, flip learning and presentation in the classroom. While teachers are slowly gearing up to the new reality, the Universities and Institutes are also learning to adapt to the new alterations and demand from the students and industries.

The economy is in deceleration and jobs are scarce. Where the Institute and teachers do not want to leave any space of failure for the students, at the same time students are also trying hard to get the successes in their carrier, they want to learn as much as they can. AICTE or NAAC or NBA is designed for the Indian institute / Universities and they are best for Indian students, but in this fight for jobs and success Universities and Institute have to give them something beyond than this, hence Indian B-schools opt for the global accreditation to improve their brands and pedagogy, fuel exchange programmed and increase international relations.

Working across the countries has become the requirement of the organization in today’s scenario Indian companies are well allied with the international companies for their business in this case if a student only studies the Indian management it would be very difficult for the student to manage and deal with the international companies. India’s economies are among the world’s sixth reflecting the fact the majority of GDP (gross domestic product) is generated outside of the USA and Europe.  Understanding international business operations is increasingly important for today’s business graduate. Hence, there is a growing need for graduates with an international perspective, who can operate internationally effectively. In the unpredictable worldwide business and economic environment, studying business from an international point of view has become important for the graduates not only to those who wish to work outside the country but it is important for those who will work in India as well. In the nutshell, students need to develop a global perspective to be successful. Studying with international subjects allows them to see how the globalisation has connected the world in the business.
