In the next few decades, the future of higher education may change drastically as its systems are becoming incompatible with the increasing pace of technological advancement brought by the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Recent years have witnessed a rapid pace of new technological transition which played a crucial role in the previous industrial revolutions. This rapid technological transition affects almost every field of the emerging markets in economy, environment, culture and education. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is considered as the global technological transformation and revolution based on diverse modern technologies. In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, education must be prepared to change with this technological transition.

Industry 4.0 refers to the fourth industrial revolution. It calls for a dynamic transformation of how all aspects of business and production are done. A new wave of global technology will change global production. Internationalization, in all aspects of business and industry, will be the norm. Countries can no longer remain confined within their borders but must become citizens of the world. Leaders in this new era will need to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and be able to interact across the globe. In short, they need to be liberally educated. But how should this impact on education? Future workers will need to be highly trained in the emerging technologies but also, as importantly, in the values associated with using those technologies. In the future, we must not only possess the ability to develop the technology but also to know whether, when, and where to use that technology. That kind of thinking is both reflective and interdisciplinary. Educational institutes must reinvent themselves quickly. They need to adapt to the demands of the industry 4.0  and have the obligation to come out of its shell, its hermetic spaces and try to give as many opportunities as possible by creating the adequate contexts for students to be prepared for the future jobs. The problem in the future could not be the lack of employment, but the shortage of skills that the new jobs will demand.

The higher education institutions need to boost the initial awareness of education 4.0 among students as well as instructors by organizing training, workshops, seminars and conferences to enhance advancement needed for the time. Accordingly, there is a huge need to change educators’ mindset or culture towards the use of classroom technologies.

We can analyze education according to different respective era. Education 1.0 responded to the need of the agricultural society. The knowledge is transferred from the teacher to the learner, using the concepts and comprehensive study would takes place. The learner follows the teacher who focused on explanation as the main method.

Whereas in education 2.0 responded to the requirement of the industrial society with the concept of teaching to learn rather not much of being creative. The learning management focused on learning the technology is to use as tools in the work.

Education 3.0 addressed the need of the ‘technology society’. It creates knowledge by supporting self-learning. Education in this era uses learning technology in forms of teaching materials, digital media and social media. It focuses on interactive learning.

Finally, now education 4.0 is catering to the need of the society in ‘innovative era’. It is in accordance to the changing behavior with the special characteristics of parallelism, connectivism and visualization. This learning management must help to develop the learner’s ability to apply the new technology, which will help the learner’s to develop according to the changes in society. The learning management of this era is a new learning system, allowing the learner to grow with knowledge and skills for the whole life, not just to know how to read and write. To be able to live in a society and to be equipped with the best of his/her ability. Therefore, Education 4.0 will be more than just an education. Hence, learning management must respond to the changes in social and economy environment to cater the human capital need. There must be a change in learning management, which is not attempting to build up the skills in 3 R’s of reading, writing and arithmetic’s, to produce good and clever youth to live in a happy society rather it must also create the quality and skills responding to Education 4.0

According to requirement, digitization and virtualization in education are motivating, inspiring and potentially broad challenges for individuals and societies. Smart and intelligent educational tools and resources should allow individuals to develop more complete expertise, knowledge and skills and unleash their innovative prospective. In fact, many of the ongoing changes are reminiscent of the exciting words of Irish poet William Butler Yates “Education is not to fill the bucket, but to ignite it.” Organizations must have an effective approach to address the challenges of Industry transformation. The development of technologies such as Big Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence is replacing maximum processes. Instead, as the subsequent generation uses smartphones and applications, new technology transforms our lives “by inventing new things that are unthinkable and creating new ways that are unimaginable.” As we master the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we must preserve our core attributes, our ethical standards, and our way of life. The revolution of higher education is a key factor in the digital transformation of industry 4.0. Higher education pioneers must ensure that their foundations are computerized, open the doors created by industry 4.0, and have a high level of commitment and agility. If we misuse the progress of the fourth round of industry 4.0, it will unquestionably lead us away from our lifestyle, the quality of the center and the happy nature of the schools, universities and colleges. In this way, higher education should develop codes of ethics and responsibility to monitor the progress of fourth investor relations by organizations and staff. To be successful in the workplace of the future, people must have appropriate digital and virtual education. At school, university, or at work – the ever-changing digital landscape is making IT skills increasingly important and effective. Digital media has created new opportunities for digital learning for everyone. I believe that we will be able to manage with the experiments of digitization and take advantage of the opportunities it offers, but we need a comprehensive approach.

Education 4.0 is a smart, virtual and digital revolution for the benefit of many stakeholders, including teachers and educators. Teachers may think that the Education 4.0 personalized learning philosophy will give more work, but it is not. In contrast, Education 4.0 is beneficial for school teachers and educators in educational institutions for the reason that they can better meet the specific needs of students. Through Education 4.0, teachers can ultimately teach students, not classes. Use tools and techniques that promote this personalized learning goal. This leads to better learning outcomes for students and better educational outcomes depending on what results educators and teachers bring. Education 4.0 permits teachers and educators by providing best methods & techniques to facilitate work.

Reduce the administrative burden by automating many processes while modernizing specific processes and teaching methods. Education 4.0 aims to improve performance by enhancing teacher skills and improving student learning outcomes.

Today, it is the digital society where the life style has changed, learning management should respond to the changing behavior of the learner. That is, to redefine the education in order to respond to the innovative society or Education 4.0. Therefore, it is not enough to define the education for 21st Century Skills only, but also to consider the learning management in the aspect of Social & Virtual Learning; that the graduates will become intellectuals and eventually that would help to build an intelligent nation. In order to develop people with new technological innovations for using Intelligent agents, Mobile technologies and Cloud computing and services. The appropriate model of learning management stated above is still a challenge of learner’s ability to seek further.
