SoftBank Vision fund posts a record $17.7 billion loss for the last fiscal year with great Unicorn this is the situation for just 60 days Lockdown . Soft Bank Vision fund the biggest investor in startup’s in India and they say this pandemic may be bankrupt 15 of it’s wonderful companies.

Just imagine what will happen to Indian Education system if the same COVID Crisis continues if they don’t adopt technology in their day to day functioning .Today Indian Education system is the largest in the World having 1000 + Universities , 44000 Colleges and 650000 Schools where 350 Million Students are effected with COVID19. Almost 100 % students unable to attend regular campus classes and every one is moving to online without proper training and technology. Till 2020 Feb every institution is focusing and investing entire money on land & infrastructure.Today all this huge wonderful campuses are empty without student also faculty and no hope when they will restart. It’s crucial time for all higher education institutions where placement and admissions happens and normally most of the institutions in India by this time they might have placed 80 % their students in good companies and closed their admissions. But the scenario is different now only 40 % students are placed till now and no hope about remaining students future since the industry scenario is alarming . Same way regarding admissions only 35% institutions are closed 50% admissions remaining 65% of the institutions still not able to get double digit . And surprise to see the news Oxford,London Business School,Wharton,Imperial College,Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins they are Worlds best Ivy League Institutions and getting a admission in this institutions is a dream for any aspiring student across the World, today all this institutions are relaxed their admission norms because of COVID19 pandemic has forced several universities to suspend their standardised testing requirements. All the universities across the World extending their deadlines for receiving applications. Some Universities first time they are cancelling application fee also processing fee and some of the Universities are ready to offer large number of scholarships amount to 50 % of regular fee .Now all relaxation towards GMAT & GRE and work experience by all top leading Universities and including Harvard is worried about their intake and start dates of academic programmes.

If the situation continues what will be the future of Indian Education system ? Unlike universities like Harvard , Oxford , Stanford, MIT , Imperial College where they have a corpus with that they can survive one more 15-20 years . There is educational group in India can survive more than 2 years without admissions.

There is need of Government and Corporate support to Educational Institutions in this crisis situation.
